We Want Organic Foods Nationwide

Organically Grown Please!

by Mindy L. Saldine

Children - they are the world! They are the embodiment of our souls. They come into the world pure and whole. Their DNA has not been corrupted. They put their trust in us. We are their mothers. We are their nurturers. We are their being. Then, why are we feeding them food full of chemicals? Why are we allowing this corruption to begin and continue throughout their childhood? Listen mom and dad too, it's high time to evaluate what you are eating. Experts now claim that organically grown food is superior. It's the food that allows your child to bloom. If it is USDA Organic certified, then buy it. Without this seal, I say start passing on purchasing the product. Slowly implement these organically grown foods into your family's diet. The nation, the world needs organically grown food for its children - NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Why Traditional Farming Practices Must Return Globally

Urgently, A New Era Is Called For

By David James Bartel

Hey people, is it not time we stop polluting our waterways? Globally, the situation has gotten so bad that our oceans are suffering immensely. Recently, scientists have exposed the facts that there are over 400 "dead zones" where polluted waters running into the world's oceans are causing literal dead areas where no life can exist. I remember back in the 60's when Jacques Cousteau asked the question what would happen if the ocean's should die. Well, that can be answered rather quickly, our atmosphere would fade and we would be toast. So, having said that. Is not the recent data staring us right in the eye. The world ocean is in dire trouble. You could make a real strong case that it is beginning to die off. Why are we humans allowing this to occur? The culprit is a combination of many man made chemicals washing into our rivers, however it is primarily synthetic based farming chemicals that is causing the problem. These chemicals - cause our oceans to bloom with algae which leads to a chain reaction that leads to these "dead zones". Now, I don't know about you, but I can see things had better start changing. We need to have new regulations put in place locally, statewide, and nationally to start phasing out the use of these chemicals. We must pressure and guide our lawmakers to realistically enact laws over the next foreseeable future. These new laws would gradually move our agricultural system to an organically based one. The very system that was used traditionally for thousands of years before the twentieth century. Now that the new century has dawned, it's time for man to get smart and realize his power to act now to solve this global problem. It's not about us. We'll be dead and gone before you know it! It's about what kind of world do we leave to our children, and their children - ad infinitum.

>People, please bring forth your comments on this incredibly important issue of our time.
